“I have had the privilege of working with Mary McCarron from Connect Neurotherapy Services for nearly a decade. As an Occupational Therapist, she consistently brings exceptional skill, dedication, and clinical judgement to some of the most complex neurorehabilitation cases. Mary combines compassion with precision—balancing risk, structure, and meaningful engagement to achieve progress where others have struggled. She is a collaborative, accountable, and indispensable member of any multidisciplinary team. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a world-class OT to deliver truly effective neurorehabilitation—and Mary is precisely that.”

Martine Stoffles, Consultant Psychiatrist

“I had worked with Mary in a previous role, many years before I had qualified and she was one of the key therapists that inspired me to become an occupational therapist. It was an easy decision to ask Mary if she would supervise me as a now-qualified occupational therapist and she has been supervising me as I take on my first role as an autonomous practitioner. As an occupational therapist, I’ve learned so much from Mary’s expertise, especially in clinical practice and patient-centred care. Mary has not only been a mentor, offering invaluable insights and feedback, but also a source of inspiration, always demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and compassion. Mary’s approach has greatly enhanced my skills and confidence in my role, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from her. Mary’s support has played a key role in shaping me into the therapist I am today.”

Sasha, Occupational Therapist

“I have worked with Mary at Connect Neurotherapy with community-based brain injury clients as part of privately instructed multidisciplinary teams. Some of our clients have presented with highly complex needs including issues with engagement and motivation. Mary has always taken a genuine client-centred approach to find ways to engage with these challenges and drive routes forwards that develop skills and improve quality of life. Mary has also been a very positive and solution-focussed member of the clinical teams that we have worked in together. It has been a pleasure to work alongside her both through direct joint working with clients and wider liaison within the MDT.”

Sam Batstone, Neuro Psychologist

“I often feel like I am stuck in time, but Occupational Therapy helps me see my progress. Mary has a perfect balance of bringing good fun but also focus to the sessions.”

Csongi, Client

Mary offers a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, reflective practice, and professional growth. Mary’s ability to balance high clinical standards with genuine empathy makes her not only an exceptional supervisor but also a trusted mentor. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from her.“

Carrie, Occupational Therapist

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to both CNS and Sophy. This journey has been significant, and your contributions have been incredibly valuable. Your efforts have ultimately led us to success. A was discharged yesterday… I visited him in the afternoon, and he seemed happy, cheerful, and was enjoying his music playing softly in the background.”

“We have worked with Mary at Connect Neurotherapy and her associates over the last few years to provide additional OT to specific patients transferring to the community. On each occasion, we have received prompt responses, a clear and accurate pay structure with easy access to our patients notes allowing us to receive updates without incurring additional costs. Reports have been thorough and professionally written. As an OT, the direct therapy has been person-focused and goal led, as we expect it to be. I would highly recommend Connect Neurotherapy.”
