About Connect Neurotherapy Services
Mary McCarron, founder and Director of CNS, had a vision of creating a private Occupational Therapy (OT) service specialising in providing expertise in neurological and vocational occupational therapy. Operating as a sole trader since 2013, CNS became a limited company in 2018. Now employing a growing team of experienced OT associates, providing a neurological service as well as Occupational Health Advice and vocational rehabilitation. CNS covers a wide geographical area.
OT is a clinical but also highly practical area of expertise and no two clients or environments are the same. CNS’s vision is to be open minded and practical in order to achieve. We strive to look beyond previous experiences. We channel knowhow, clinical expertise and experience with optimism and imagination to enable and accomplish more.
CNS does this alongside private Case Managers and Solicitors as well as NHS and other public sector providers. The vision is carried forward by a continuation of clear client and stake holder focused values and high levels of expertise, reinforced and advanced by Mary through supervision, close support, and oversight.
CNS enables and connects; be it people and services; service users to service providers and/or charities; and connecting therapists to peers. This philosophy is deeply rooted in the core of OT work – connecting people’s functional ability to maximise opportunity.
CNS also takes direct referrals from families needing support, input and guidance. All services are provided in a diligent, professional, empathetic and unashamedly tenacious manner being truly adaptable to the needs of the client/referrer and their environment.

Fully qualified
All members of the CNS therapy team are fully qualified OT’s with a minimum of 5 years experience in their field of expertise. All are members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) checked.

Standard companywide clinical supervision ensures continuous improvement for all members of the team. This also guarantees continuity of care, ease of covering annual leave.
