About Mary
Mary is a passionate advocate for the positive impact of OT interventions. She is recognised as having considerable expertise in her field, successfully delivering specialist client focused OT solutions in often complex circumstances. Mary has a wide-ranging OT skillset including, but not limited to, completion of specialist neurological medico-legal assessments, executive cognition and vocational rehabilitation assessment, access to assistive technology, development of independent living skills, contributing to environmental adaptations projects including equipment prescription, and management of complex physical disabilities, especially postural management.
A consummate communicator, both verbally and in writing, Mary delivers timely, precise, and focused clinical reports and is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable advocate for clients, with experience of delivering evidence in formal court settings. Mary builds long-lasting effective relationships with clients and service commissioners and is sought-out as an excellent clinical supervisor by fellow professionals.
Mary is committed to her own continuous professional development, and that of the OT profession itself, being an influential member of several specialist OT networks, including inputting to the Board England of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy. Mary also leads her own team of hand-picked OT Associates within CNS and is an Expert Witness for assistive technology for clients with brain injuries.
